I would like to to issue this as a public apology to the t-shirt collective that was formed to create and manage the LBL (Local Business Liaison) t-shirt & logo campaign. I made decisions that were not agreed upon within the collective, which as a result created tension & has stopped production of the t-shirts with official GA approved Occupy Oakland logo. Although all monies and product I was responsible for has been accounted for, what was not agreed upon was my method of sales & marketing tactics, also my decision to directly pay the producer of t-shirts/Labor. My only intent was to create the outlet to raise funds for activists & actions. I apologize for my lack of communication & not clarifying the intent of the campaign which was agreed upon within the LBL in order to form the t-shirt committee. The LBL comm. is still moving forward with the goal of the campaign & we are open to anyone who would like to contribute time or donate funds needed to produce, promote & distribute OO t-shirts & OO stamps to outreach to the community,& also to generate a economy to support actions & activists.
