Walmart Workers Dancing the Strike 23 Nov 2012

Walmart pays the lowest wages, forces employees to work irregular schedules, and intimidates and retaliates against workers who fight back. So on 23 November 2012, workers held a one day strike. Strikers celebrated with music, dancing and food. The Bay Area community mobilized to support the workers and tell Walmart that everyone deserves respect.

S17 Convergence: Occupy's One Year Anniversary

San Francisco Occupiers celebrated Occupy’s one year anniversary with multiple actions, then converging in the downtown area for a march and rally.
