Right now, postal workers in Washington D.C. are having a hunger strike. Why? Because corporations are bribing politicians to shut down the post office and privatize the system, destroying the second largest employer in the United States. Occupy joined with unions, ANSWER Coalition, the Gray Panthers and many others to march to a local post office in a poor part of town, take it over and hold a rally inside. Then we left peacefully.
